Max has now been battling with a rare form of cancer for the past five years, which began in his tearduct and has since spread to his lungs and brain.

Due to the rare nature of his illness, no conventional methods within the NHS have worked, meaning he is having to seek alternative specialist options in Germany.

These are turning out to be eye wateringly expensive, with each treatment costing up to £49k each, of which he is on his third.

Max is Co-Founder & Director of In Our Nature, a green non-profit production company that creates thought provoking documentaries looking to re-shape the pessimistic narrative around climate change into one that is hopeful.

Max is also an incredible photographer, but due to his damaged eyesight and on-going cancer treatments, he is unable to work.
